After!!!our mother-in-law has relocated to Yuma for her job and didn't have much time to spend on decorating her home in Heber. So my sister Becky and I thought to do some of the work ourselves. It all came together after our sister Laura no longer had room for her leather couches, then it just started snowballing from there!! Becky had a neighbor getting rid of all the wood furniture(including a dinette set, console table and matching hat rack, not pictured). After not being able to find exactly what we wanted, we sewed the curtains(with the help of Laura!), ordered the rug from walmart.com and accessorized with things that either we or our mother-in-law already had. our mom even made a rag quilt for the room! it all looked so good! The big reveal was last weekend, and boy was she surprised!! It felt really good to do something for her since she works so hard!! We definitely benefit, it's practically our second home! we love to beat the heat and spend time up there!! now we'll love it even more!

Can you come decorate my house!?! You guys did such a great job! I bet she LOVED it! How fun to do this project together!
